Clark & Sons opened its doors
in Glasgow's Clarkston on Monday 28th of June 2010, a date
that will hopefully be remembered for changing the dynamic
of eating and drinking in Glasgow's South Side.
Ryan Barrie (A.K.A. Clark!) was very excited
when the opportunity arose to open his second bar and restaurant
in his own neighbourhood. He has been frequently asked why
he chose to name the venue 'Clark & Sons' and this is
explained by a play on the name Clarkston emphasising that
this is a local bar and restaurant. The "S" was
added to Son as he acquired the venue 2 weeks after the birth
of his second son! Hence the creation of Clark & Sons!
The ethos of Clark & Sons is to provide
a quality food and drink offer with the style and panache
of a city centre venue, on the doorstep of the residents of
the Southside.
Clark & Sons has set its sights
high, leading by example from its Big Brother CITATION
TAVERNE & RESTAURANT that
operates in Glasgow's Merchant City.
Like every cheeky little brother
it's quickly gaining in confidence and is keen to teach its
big brother a few new tricks!
